Service Restrictions during the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics
Due to imposed security requirements and access restrictions at Olympic venues and surrounding areas, several specific Globex service changes will be in effect from February 1 to February 28, 2010.
Please note: Service may be affected beyond the impacts noted below due to additional access restrictions that may be imposed by local authorities on a day-to-day basis. Service may be impacted preceding February 1, 2010, and may continue to be affected until the Paralympic Games end on March 21, 2010.
The Globex Money-Back Guarantee will not apply to packages that are delayed due to added security measures or road closures, or require a change of address for delivery.

Restricted Access Destination (RAD)
Through our agents, Globex has special procedures to operate in embargoed countries and under dangerous conditions, which complicates security inspection and delivery. To continue improving our service levels, we are making further developments to improve the security conditions of our existing network.
RAD will apply to express service shipments that are going to restricted access locations under trade embargo or security risks.
